Following last month’s announcement that the teaching of a foreign language is to be compulsory at Key Stage 2, the government is now seeking views on this proposal, which will see languages become part of the new curriculum due to be launched in 2014.
Teachers, educationalists and parents all have the chance to submit their opinions about how they would like the curriculum to be shaped. The closing date is Friday 28 September 2012.
