Location: London
Speak to the future was delighted to support the UK launch of Language Rich Europe at the London School of Economics on 28 June. Covering 15 EU member states, Language Rich Europe is a project co-funded by the European Commission and led by the British Council which promotes knowledge sharing about good policy and practice in language learning and teaching across Europe, and encourages Europeans to learn more languages at all stages of their lives. The project focuses on the use of languages in education, media, public services and business.
The event saw leading experts and practitioners address key questions through panel discussions and workshops. The debate was also being opened across the twittersphere, using the hashtag #LREUK during the event to offer thoughts and ask questions on the main topics of discussion.
